Caryota maxima should be more resistent to low tempertaures than C.mitis.
There a several bamboos which withstand low temperatures (Can't tell names)
Treeferns, especially Dicksonia antarctica are a bit frost resistent, but requires permanent watering.
Albizia Julibrissin, some species are very frost resistent. Any should survive 4°C.

The following should be frost tolerant:
    Eucalyptus Archeri
    E. Coccifera
    E. Glaucesens
    E. Pauciflora ssp. Debeuzevillei
    E. Pauciflora ssp. Niphophile
    E. Pauciflora ssp. Pauciflora
    E. Subcrenulata

Sequoia Sempervirens & Sequoiadendron giganteum survive with ease Vienna freezing temperatures.

    Morus Nigra (Maulbeerbaum)

    Caryota maxima see PM.
Sequoia look at www.samenladen.de --> Pflanzen der Rekorde

Oops, ... Ginkgo Biloba of course. Be patient the fruits smells awefull! But great tree, getting very old, need 2 sexes to produce seeds (2 Trees!). Need 25-35 years to produce first time seeds. For me it would be great to have in my own garden mature Ginkgo's. Or even a Ginkgo forest
